The Latest Findings from Our Swing Voter Research

The Swing Voter Project, a collaboration between Sago and Engagious, continued this month to understand how voters in key battleground states are thinking and talking about critical issues such as lowering prescription drug costs, reducing pollution, and more affordable childcare.

Two online focus groups took place on October 12 with swing voters from the most competitive battleground states who voted for Donald Trump in 2016, then Joe Biden in 2020. This month voters expressed their feelings towards the expansion of the child tax credit to 2025.

Rich Thau, President, Engagious, moderated the groups and said, “Democrats risk alienating Trump-Biden voters next year if they extend the child tax credit beyond 2021.”
