VP, Clinical Research
Kay Savio is a crucial member of our Clinical Research leadership team, supporting clinical research clients across a broad range of study types, including non-invasive devices, over-the counter-healthcare products, cosmetics, and behavioral and cognitive studies.
Kay oversees the recruitment and completion of clinical research study objectives and protocols across over 30 proprietary sites in the US to ensure consistency and quality to her clients’ timelines.
Kay joined Schlesinger Group when Schlesinger acquired Focus Pointe Global in 2019, and the FPG and Schlesinger Clinical teams merged to form Schlesinger Clinical Research.
Kay brings over 20 years of data collection experience to her role, including more than a decade in clinical research and related services. During this time, she has developed expertise in clinical strategy, global data collection, and multi-methodology design deploying qualitative and quantitative approaches, in-person and online. She works with a variety of clinical researcher types, from manufacturers to universities and government bodies for which Kay is our team lead for government contracts and our Senior Principle Investigator.
Kay has formed long-standing trusted relationships with her clinical research clients through a consultative, partnership approach, and consistent, transparent communication on incidence, feasibility, and protocols.
Kay is based in our St. Louis office. Kay is married with two children, she also has an identical twin sister who works for Schlesinger. They have enjoyed playing pranks on friends and colleagues through the years. Kay enjoys sports, sewing, a good puzzle, the outdoors, and boating.
