In January 2014, Scott Baker joined the Schlesinger Group Executive Management team as Vice President, Qualitative Solutions where he managed several key accounts and the West Coast operations (Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Francisco). In 2017, Scott took on the role of Senior Vice President, Client Solution where he continues to oversee West Coast operations, key accounts as well as playing a strategic role in Business Development – specifically focusing on new and existing business in the Financial, B2B & B2C Technology, and Entertainment verticals.
Scott Baker began his career in the field of advertising before joining the research firm – Herron Associates in Tampa, Florida in 1991. In 1998 he moved to Los Angeles, California to join Adept Consumer Testing where he worked for 16 years from the position of Project Director to Vice President to several years as President before joining Schlesinger Group.
Scott is highly involved in several professional organizations: Insights Association, PMRG, and AMA nationally. Over the years, he has served numerous local and national positions within these organizations and other non-profits. Currently, he serves as a Director at Large for the Insights Association with a focus on National Events.
Scott is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL with continued education from New York University, UCLA Extension, Burke Institute, and the Disney Institute. In addition, Scott is IPC certified (Insights Professional Certification which is an Insights Association designation).
Scott lives at the beach in Marina del Rey, CA, and can be found doing outdoor activities on the weekends between Venice and Malibu.
